A-Line Staffing is hiring for a full-time PET-CT Technologist in Austin, TX (78731). This is a direct hire opportunity with no nights or weekends. Join a leading oncology imaging team and make a difference in patient care every day.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, the PET-CT Technologist performs PET imaging procedures and related functions. This role collaborates with the Medical Director and leadership on technical performance, equipment QA, and protocol quality. Adheres to HIPAA and the US Oncology Compliance Program.

Schedule & Location:

• Full-Time | Direct Hire

• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• No nights or weekends

• Onsite – Austin, TX 78731

Salary/Wage:

• $42.99 – $57.92/hour (Based on experience and certification level)

Key Duties:

• Perform PET procedures, including radiopharmaceutical & IV contrast administration
• Position patients and capture/reconstruct quality images
• Archive image data and ensure network transfer accuracy
• Assist with patient scheduling, charting, and report distribution
• Conduct daily QA and report equipment service issues
• Educate patients and manage reactions to contrast materials
• Maintain inventory of clinical, medical, and archiving supplies

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology (AMA-accredited)
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification
• PET-CT certification required
• 3–5 years of nuclear medicine and/or PET experience preferred
• Familiarity with patient scheduling and billing systems

Level 2:
• 5+ years in nuclear medicine, including 2+ years PET

Senior Level:
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years PET experience

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push/pull patients up to 300 lbs
• Stand/sit for long periods; reach overhead
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Corrected vision and hearing required

Work Environment:

• Clinical environment with exposure to patients, biohazards, and radiation
• Must follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelines
