PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Location: Worthington, OH 43085
Pay Rate: $25.01 per hour
Schedule: 3 openings — 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory management, billing, and pharmacy operations in a professional pharmacy environment. The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and follows applicable pharmacy standards and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing according to established standards and regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checking, including preparing medications for RPh review and packaging medications after final verification.
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Receive and rotate medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control activities.
• Help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy work environment.
• Check equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Follow all pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to follow pharmacy procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 openings
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• $25.01 per hour
• Pharmacy setting with opportunities to support prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, inventory, and delivery operations.
