PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Location: Horsham, PA 19044
Pay Rate: $25.01 per hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend, with scheduled days off on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
Holidays: As scheduled
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and assist with prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, medication packaging, inventory, billing support, and delivery coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the pharmacy computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and applicable government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checking by presenting medications for pharmacist review and/or packaging medications after final pharmacist approval.
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, rotating, and maintaining pharmacy medication and supply inventory.
• Record and maintain medication lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory activities.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment.
• Work with the Technician Supervisor to ensure equipment is properly calibrated, safe, and clean.
• Follow all pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other pharmacy technician duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
• $25.01 per hour
• $1.00/hour 2nd shift differential
• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Scheduled weekday off on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
• Holidays as scheduled
QUALIFICATIONS
• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
