Patient Affordability Representative Compensation

• The pay for this position is $17.50 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Patient Affordability Representative Highlights

• Training will be 9am to 5pm EST Monday -- Friday, for the first ~3-4 weeks.
• Shifts that range between the hours of 9am to 6pm EST.
• The start date for this role will be Monday, April 14th.
• Role is direct hire – no contract work involved.
• Career Progression: start on inbound team and move up to outbound team + upward mobility to lead, supervisory, managerial level in time and if desired

Patient Affordability Representative Responsibilities

• Support the Patient Affordability Program, servicing 20+ medications, primarily in the diabetic therapeutic area.
• Handle inbound calls from patients, pharmacies, and physicians, addressing inquiries such as:
  • Savings program details and eligibility verification.
  • Assistance with savings card processing and troubleshooting pricing issues.
  • Guiding pharmacies through the claim’s submission process.
  • Renew savings coupon cards annually for eligible patients.
• Educate patients and healthcare professionals who inquire about the program after seeing advertisements, receiving a card from a doctor’s office, or obtaining one at a pharmacy.
• Conduct outbound calls to pharmacies to assist with claim processing and address escalated issues in collaboration with a third-party vendor.
• Provide support for medical claim reimbursements and clinical trial programs as needed.
• Accurately document adverse events, side effects, and product complaints in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Active listing skills
• Customer service experience – doesn't have to be in the medical field (retail, other call centers, etc)
• Any prior pharmacy/healthcare experience a plus
