A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Patient Services Coordinator in Dallas, TX! The Patient Services Coordinator will be working for a well-established healthcare organization and has career growth potential. See additional details below.

 

Patient Services Coordinator Highlights

  • The pay for this position is $21.00-$23.00 per hour.
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Onsite position
  • This position is a temporary contract.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner and check in patients upon arrival, informing clinical staff of patient arrivals.
  • Provide patients with necessary paperwork, ensuring it is completed, accurate, and filed appropriately. Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system.
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; provide receipts and ensure accurate payment processing.
  • Answer, screen, and respond to routine patient inquiries, route to appropriate personnel and relay messages promptly.
  • Schedule patient follow-up appointments in accordance with physician and office guidelines. Provide patients with relevant appointment details, including time, location, and instructions.
  • Record cancellations and missed appointments, reschedule as needed, and notify appropriate staff. Ensure changes are updated in patient records.
  • Support general office operations, including filing charts, maintaining supplies, and keeping the waiting area organized.
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality laws, including HIPAA regulations, and maintain secure patient records.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned, including typing memos and forms.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 18 months experience as a front office receptionist in a medical setting, including experience with insurance forms and scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Demonstrated adaptability in managing day-to-day challenges and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Strong work commitment with the ability to set and achieve high-performance standards.
  • Ability to maintain quality service and deliver accurate, timely, and organized support.

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
