Payer Enrollment Coordinator Details and Compensation:

  • Location: Cumberland RI 02864 – Hybrid schedule available after training
  • Payrate: $16.38/hr
  • Required Availability: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Summary and Highlights:

The Enrollment Coordinator will support the Payer Enrollment Department, ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial enrollment requirements for clinics and providers. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance 4 days per week, with an optional remote workday on Fridays after training.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Processing enrollment applications for providers and clinics (initial and revalidations).
  • Resolving claims issues and ensuring compliance with payer credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and minimize denials or application deactivations.
  • Researching and maintaining provider information in billing systems.
  • Communicating effectively with management about trends or issues impacting operations.

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of work experience with government payers.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
