Payroll Specialist Compensation

• The pay for this position is up to $21.00 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Payroll Specialist Highlights

• This position is a contract to hire assignment based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Onsite position located in Louisville, KY 40222

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for 60K+ employees across multiple states and territories

• Conduct data entry and employee maintenance

• Run payroll processes and prepare reports

• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies

• Calculate and issue manual checks and stop payments

• Ensure payroll accuracy through audits and data analysis

• Collaborate with team members and provide payroll support to staff

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold payroll policies and procedures

• Heavy phone and email communication

Payroll Specialist Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

• 1-3 years of payroll, customer service, or office experience preferred

• Experience with payroll software systems (ADP, Kronos) is a plus

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Payroll Specialist Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in a related field

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting

• Experience in data entry-heavy environments
