A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Payroll Tax Accountant in the St Louis, MO area. The Payroll Tax Accountant would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

**Need to reside in Missouri for consideration!**

Highlights:

• The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, No OT required
• Remote, computer equipment provided, must have reliable internet at home
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Payroll Tax Accountant Compensation:

• The pay rate for this role is $25-$27/hr

Payroll Tax Accountant Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and process tax filings, and process state tax credit reports and filing
• Processing tax notices, reviewing reconciling quarterly statements, company transfers/account closures
• Complete registration applications, and other reports/reconciliations as needed
• Prepare tax calculations for tax provision and tax returns
• Tax planning and special projects as needed

Payroll Tax Accountant Requirements:

• 3 – 5 Years experience in payroll (Looking for a candidate with strong Payroll Tax background)
• Familiar with reviewing/handling tax notices, quarterly filings and tax statements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must reside in Missouri for consideration!

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous accounting experience preferred
• Experience with PeopleSoft and ADP preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, related field preferred
