A-Line Staffing is now hiring Per Diem RNs in Detroit, MI 48235. The Per Diem Registered Nurse would be working inside a local healthcare system with tracheostomy and ventilator patients. This would be 1-3 shifts p/wk, primarily on Days (7a-7p).

Per Diem RN Highlights

• The pay for this position is $45.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
• This position is a W2 contract assignment with potential to extend or hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 1-3 shifts p/wk, primarily on Days (7a-7p)

Per Diem RN Responsibilities

• Here, you will care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Our RNs play an essential role in providing compassionate care and clinical treatment every step of the way.

• Receiving admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Per Diem RN Requirements

• MUST have experience caring for tracheostomy and/or ventilator patients
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
