Job Description
  • Administers and records medication, treatments, and monitoring as ordered.
  • Accurately transcribes physician's orders and completes monthly summaries.
  • Notifies the RN Supervisor of significant changes in resident conditions.
  • Assists physicians with rounds, examinations, and treatments as needed.
  • Supervises and directs nursing assistants to ensure prescribed care is carried out.
  • Documents vital signs and attends to safety hazards within the facility.
  • Conducts team conferences and assists in orientation of new nursing staff.
Critical Information
  • Nights: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, rotating weekends required.
Education/Licenses Needed
  • Must possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit.
  • BLS certification required.
