A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacist in Milwaukee, WI for a Fortune 500 company with excellent career growth potential! This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week in a specialty pharmacy environment.

This position offers competitive pay, steady hours, and a collaborative work environment in long-term care pharmacy operations.

Job Highlights:

• Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour
• Schedule: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, some Saturdays required
• Employment Type: Contract to hire with intentions on becoming permanent
• Location: Wisconsin (Active/Valid WI Pharmacist License Required)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review physician medication orders for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and administration routes.
• Maintain and update patient/resident medication databases.
• Ensure appropriate laboratory tests are ordered and evaluated for high-risk conditions.
• Provide clinical and technical support to the healthcare team.
• Document all communication with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
• Oversee safe procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal of medications.
• Assist facility staff with safe and effective medication administration procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Experience:
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in long-term care pharmacy
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations for long-term care settings
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Licensure:
  • Active/Valid WI Pharmacist License (Required)
