Job Description
A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Pharmacist for a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Milwaukee, WI! This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay and a structured schedule in a professional pharmacy setting.
Job Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour + Benefits Available after 90 days
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Must be available for some Saturdays) - earlier shift options may become available in upcoming months
- Work Location: Closed-Door Pharmacy – Onsite in Milwaukee, WI
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity with a Leading LTC Pharmacy
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate physician medication orders for accuracy, potential interactions, and appropriateness.
- Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and facility staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records, including medical history and concurrent prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding medication storage, procurement, and disposal.
- Support healthcare teams by offering guidance on medication safety and administration.
- Document communications with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in patient records.
- Identify and report medication-related errors to the Pharmacy Manager.
- Participate in pharmacy operations and adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Active and Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist License – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy – Required (PharmD Preferred)
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy – Preferred
