Job Description:
Join a specialty infusion services team as a Pharmacist on the infusion compounding team. This temp-to-hire opportunity will have you supporting a leading provider delivering cost-effective, high-quality patient care for those receiving specialized therapies at home. You will review physician medication orders, participate in patient assessments, support sterile compounding, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Schedule & Location:
- Location: Dr. Mendota Heights, Minnesota 55120, United States
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Salary/Wage:
- Hourly Rate: $64.32 per hour
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Duties:
- Review and assess physician medication orders for appropriateness, accuracy, safety, and completeness.
- Participate in patient assessments, product and device selection, and supply management for infusion therapy.
- Oversee compounding, packaging, and labeling of compounded sterile products while adhering to USP 797 standards.
- Verify the accuracy and safety of compounded sterile products.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, sharing clinical and technical information to ensure optimal patient care.
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Required Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacist with an active license in the state of Minnesota.
- At least 1 year of infusion therapy compounding experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail in compounding and safety protocols.
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform duties requiring attention to sterile compounding, including standing for extended periods and handling compounded products in a clean room environment.
Pharmacist – Infusion Compounding Team Education:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree required.
