A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacist – Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Care in Indianapolis, IN 46250.
The Pharmacist would be working for a growing long-term care/home-based pharmacy and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.

Pharmacist Compensation
• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required schedule for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm ET
• No weekends required

Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
• Monitor medication compliance and usage patterns for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Ensure all medications are prescribed, stored, and dispensed appropriately and lawfully
• Maintain and update accurate confidential records for all patients
• Provide consultation on prescription and OTC medications, including side effects, interactions, and proper usage
• Educate patients and caregivers on handling medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors)
• Compound medications (both internal and external use) and prepare sterile solutions as needed
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff (currently staffed with 2 techs)
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Address drug-related problems and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Operate and manage Parata automation systems to support pharmacy workflow

Pharmacist Requirements
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pharmacist license in Indiana (required)
• Experience in long-term care, intellectual/developmental disabilities care, or home-based pharmacy practices
• Experience using Parata automation systems preferred
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
