Pharmacist Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a closed-door pharmacy team. This non-patient-facing role involves reviewing medication orders, ensuring accurate dispensing, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The role offers a structured schedule with rotating Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy and long-term care.

Pharmacist Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM (1-hour lunch)

  • Rotating Saturdays 9 AM – 3 PM

  • Onsite position in Alexandria LA 71301 United States

Pharmacist Salary/Wage:
$62.00/hr

Pharmacist Duties:
• Review and verify medication orders
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Monitor for drug interactions and contraindications
• Maintain inventory controls
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards

Pharmacist Required Qualifications:
• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in Louisiana
• Previous experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pharmacist Physical Requirements:
• None specified

Pharmacist Education:
• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
