Pharmacist Compensation

· The pay for this position is $ 52.97-$66.22 per hour based on experience

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist Highlights

· The required availability for this position is full time – assigned shift to be determined

Pharmacist Responsibilities

· Clinical generalists rotate through clinical and distribution services, however, anticipate being assigned to a clinical pharmacist role >60% of the month.

· These services include, but are not limited to, multidisciplinary rounding 7 days per week, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and proper documentation of patient medication therapy, as well as advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations.

· Providing drug information, patient information, and oversight of information and dispensing processes and systems is also critical.

· Clinical practices include dosing and monitoring anticoagulants, antimicrobials including vancomycin, total parenteral nutrition, patient-controlled analgesia, and others.

· With over 160 APPE student rotations a year, generalists have ample opportunity to mentor pharmacy IPPE/APPE students, five (5) PGY1 pharmacy residents and one (1) PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy resident.

Pharmacist Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED

· Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

· Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution

· Completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or have equivalent hospital practice experience

· Pharmacy licensure, or eligibility, in Indiana is required
