Job Description
A-Line is now hiring a Bilingual Compounding Pharmacist in Katy, TX The Pharmacist would be working in a compounding environment handling 300 fills on a daily basis with over 100 patients walk in the rest are shipped. This is a Mon-Fri position with No weekends or Holidays! Hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm
This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week Pharmacist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $55.00-$60.00/hr. DOE
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
Pharmacist Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound medications according to prescriptions and established procedures
- Ensure accuracy and quality of compounded medications
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
Pharmacist Requirements
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Texas Licensed Pharmacist
- Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD required
- Previous experience as a Compounder or in a similar role highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy practices, and patient care
- Familiarity with medical management and utilization management processes
- Strong patient service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as medication interactions
