Job Description:

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Pharmacist to join a state-operated facility in Pennsylvania. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing narcotics and drug supplies, and working with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients or residents.

Schedule & Location:

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Location: State-operated facility, Pennsylvania.

Salary/Wage:

• $40 - $50 per hour (based on experience).

Duties:

• Compound and dispense physicians' prescriptions, including ointments, powders, solutions, and other pharmaceutical supplies.
• Fill ward requisitions for narcotics, solutions, and other drug supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of narcotics, depressants, stimulants, and alcohol dispensed.
• Review medication records of patients and report potential adverse drug interactions.
• Participate in the development of comprehensive treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and non-technical personnel.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications:

• License: Must possess a valid Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy license.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Capability to perform tasks in a clinical environment.

Education:

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
