A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) in Fridley, MN 55421. The Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) would be working for a healthcare pharmacy organization and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) Compensation

• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability is Monday–Friday with varying shifts, including:
  M–F 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  M–F 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  M–F 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
  Weekend shifts: Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Overtime is not required but may be offered occasionally
• IV experience is not required but is considered a plus

Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify overuse or misuse patterns
• Ensure prescribed medications are clinically appropriate and legally compliant
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Provide counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
• Offer consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage guidance and safety
• Provide patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound non-sterile medications and prepare sterile solutions following established procedures when required
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff
• Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy)s, and pharmacy interns to support patient care
• Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy board regulations

Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) Requirements

• Active Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) license in good standing with the state pharmacy board
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacist (Closed Door Pharmacy) Preferred Qualifications

• IV pharmacy experience is a plus
• Experience in retail, outpatient, or mixed clinical pharmacy settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
