PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Apex NC 27502 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, rotating shifts
(8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist is responsible for managing home infusion therapies through clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational workflow support.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical Management: Review referrals for clinical appropriateness (drug, dose, route, and labs); complete new patient starts, refills, medication reconciliation, and patient counseling.
- Therapeutic Monitoring: Monitor lab-dependent therapies and coordinate closely with healthcare providers and nursing staff.
- Pharmacy Operations: Manage accurate prescription entry, documentation, and claim adjudication using CPR+.
- Sterile Compounding: Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications while ensuring strict compliance with USP standards, proper labeling, and lot tracking.
- Supervision & Workflow: Supervise pharmacy technicians, support production and delivery workflows, and maintain inventory to ensure timely and safe medication dispensing.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina.
- Previous experience in home infusion or sterile compounding (USP 797/800) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (CPR+ experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary coordination; ability to work effectively in a high-volume setting.
