Pharmacist Job Description:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care by accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role involves maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Pharmacist Schedule & Location:
• Full Time – 40 hours per week
• Shift: 1st shift
• Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Days: Sunday through Saturday (rotating schedule)
• 30-minute meal break
• Onsite Columbus OH 43201 United States

Pharmacist Salary/Wage:
• $50.00 – $55.00 per hour

Pharmacist Duties:
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, safety, and efficacy
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications
• Communicate with prescribers and insurance companies as needed
• Support and oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, and registries

Pharmacist Required Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

Pharmacist Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
