Pharmacist Job Description:
The Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing prescription medications, advising patients and healthcare professionals on proper medication use, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role includes providing clinical services, maintaining patient records, supervising pharmacy staff, and participating in patient care through consultation and education.


Pharmacist Schedule & Location:

  • Monday–Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Rotating weekends required

  • Onsite Franklin TN 37067 United States

  • Location: Verify with recruiter


Pharmacist Salary/Wage:

  • First Shift: $64.27/hr

  • Second Shift: $66.77/hr

  • Third Shift: $70.27/hr


Pharmacist Duties:
• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure legal compliance regarding the supply of medicines
• Verify suitability of prescribed medications for individual patients
• Accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medications, usage, possible reactions, and answer questions
• Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications including dosage, storage, side effects, and interactions
• Offer clinical services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on the use of medical devices such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors
• Compound medications for internal or external use
• Prepare sterile solutions following appropriate procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, etc.)
• Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals


Pharmacist Required Qualifications:
• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License (in good standing)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Experience in compounding and sterile solution preparation
• Ability to supervise pharmacy support staff
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and drug interactions
• Effective communication and patient consultation skills

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
