Job Description

  • Provide oversight and safety for daily operations of the patient care team.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy for each patient.
  • Counsel patients on new drug therapy and document the results.
  • Coordinate patient care with referring clinicians and document additional services.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and board of pharmacy laws.
  • Dispense medication accurately pursuant to physicians' orders.
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure quality assurance checks.

Critical Information

  • M-F, 10 AM - 7 PM CST, on-site; potential hybrid schedule if converted to permanent.
  • Must live within 1 hour driving distance of FTW, TX.

Education/Licenses Needed

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current and unrestricted license in good standing in Texas.
  • BCOP certified or willing to become BCOP certified when eligible.
  • 3-5 years post-graduate experience in pharmacy operations.
