Pay: $63.00 $66.00 per hour

Pharmacist Duties and Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications.
• Verify potential interactions with other medications the patient may be taking.
• Counsel patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications
• Provide advice on over-the-counter medications and health products.
• Answer customer questions about symptoms, treatments, and health concerns.
• Offer guidance on health and wellness topics like smoking cessation, weight loss, and managing chronic conditions
• Order and maintain stock of medications and healthcare products.
• Ensure proper storage of medications to maintain potency.
• Track and manage expiration dates and dispose of expired stock according to regulations.
• Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with local laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled substances.
• Monitor for fraudulent prescriptions or misuse of medications.

Pharmacist Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
• Active state Pharmacist license
• 1 year experience as a pharmacist
