PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Horsham PA 19044 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday + alternating weekends, 7a-330p
- Alternating weekends required
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will accurately review, dispense, and monitor medications while ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations in a long-term care pharmacy setting. The role collaborates with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, supervises pharmacy support staff, maintains accurate patient records, and provides medication expertise to promote safe and effective treatment.

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately.
- Monitor medication therapy, identify potential drug interactions, and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Counsel healthcare providers and patients on medication usage, dosing, storage, and side effects.
- Compound medications and prepare sterile products as needed.
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related concerns.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication therapy management.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work alternating weekends.
- Must be available to start as soon as possible.
