LTC Closed Door Pharmacist
Location: Horsham, PA (Onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract (approx. 9 weeks)
Pay: $65.75 per hour
Openings: 2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with alternating weekends

Position Summary
We’re hiring an onsite LTC Closed Door Pharmacist to accept and dispense prescription medications, support patient counseling, and ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations while maintaining accurate, confidential patient records.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
- Counsel patients on prescription and OTC medications (dosage, storage, side effects, interactions)
- Provide consultations on prescriptions/non-prescription medications, including storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
- Provide patient services as needed (e.g., blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management)
- Compound medications for external or internal use; prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
- Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, etc.)
- Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
- Identify drug-related problems and communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Licensed by the state pharmacy board
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
