PRN PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Hudson WI 54016 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr

- On Call rate: $75 per diem and $75 per dispensing call
- Required Availability: 2–4 weekends per month | PTO/Weekend Support

- Weekends: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- On-Call: 3–4 evenings per week
- After-hours coverage when the pharmacy is closed (6:00 PM – 10:00 AM)
PRN PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The PRN Pharmacist will support weekend, PTO, and after-hours coverage at an onsite pharmacy. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys flexibility, autonomy, and the occasional on-call adrenaline rush (white coat, not cape… unless you want one).
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PRN PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or drug-related issues
- Provide patient counseling on prescription and OTC medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and interactions
- Compound medications for internal and external use (non-sterile; sterile compounding a plus)
- Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
- Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, blood pressure monitors)
- Provide clinical services such as smoking cessation support and wellness education
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
- Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
PRN PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license
- Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred
- Comfortable with on-call, evening, and weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and patient-focused communication skills
