PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Indianapolis IN 46250 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will support pharmacy operations in an onsite setting. This role focuses on accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, compliance monitoring, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The pharmacist will work alongside a supportive team that includes pharmacy technicians and other clinical staff.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with all laws and regulations
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or drug-related concerns
- Provide patient counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and drug interactions
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Compound medications for internal and external use and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff
- Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
- Identify and communicate medication-related issues to physicians and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients on proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy interns to support patient care
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Indiana Pharmacist (RPh) license required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with pharmacy automation systems (Parata preferred)
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Long-term care or at-home pharmacy practice experience
