Pharmacist Job Description:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, monitoring patient compliance, and ensuring legal and safe supply of pharmaceuticals. This role includes patient education, medication consultation, and oversight of pharmacy staff. The Pharmacist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide top-quality pharmaceutical care.

Pharmacist Schedule & Location:
• Full-time
• Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating weekends)
• Sunday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Onsite – Memphis, TN 38134

Pharmacist Salary/Wage:
• $64.00 per hour

Pharmacist Duties:
• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and overuse
• Assess medication suitability and communicate with healthcare providers
• Maintain and update confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and interactions
• Educate patients on medical devices like glucose monitors and BP cuffs
• Compound medications for internal and external use
• Prepare sterile solutions using appropriate procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems in patients

Pharmacist Required Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Active state pharmacy license
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required

Pharmacist Education:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
