PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location:  Milwaukee WI 53224 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $67.50/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacist will play a key role in medication dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management. This onsite contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
  • Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Identify medication-related concerns and collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following established procedures.
  • Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
  • Monitor and maintain pharmaceutical inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist (RPh) license required.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
