Pharmacist (3month contract)

Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions and coordinate clinical services for specialty drugs.
- Interact with health care professionals to provide and coordinate customer care.
- Translate prescriptions, perform compounds, and dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals.
- Resolve orders via the External Adjudication queue.
- Review patient profiles, drug interactions, and sensitivities in relation to prescriptions.
- Maintain quality assurance procedures and security of controlled substances.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy team to ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
Critical Information
- Monday-Friday rotating 8 hour shifts between 8am-6pm Pacific Time, onsite as needed.
Education/Licenses Needed
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D required.
- At least two years experience as a pharmacist with an active license in good standing.
