PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Taunton, MA 02780 – 100% On-site
  • Payrate: $66-68.40/hr – based on shift
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Evening and Overnight Shifts as needed
    • (2nd: 3 PM – 11 PM | 3rd: 11 PM – 7 AM, as needed)

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacist role supports evening and/or overnight operations, ensuring patients receive the right medications with expert guidance and compliance with all legal and safety standards.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
  • Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or adverse reactions.
  • Ensure all medication dispensing aligns with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate patient records.
  • Advise patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Compound and prepare sterile or non-sterile medications as needed.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks.
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active state pharmacist license (Massachusetts).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy preferred.
