Hospice Pharmacist – $62.02/hr – Monday–Friday (10am–6pm or 12pm–8pm) – Tempe, AZ
Hospice Pharmacist Pay: $62.02 per hour

Hospice Pharmacist Location: Tempe, AZ 85288 – On-site at the client’s company

Hospice Pharmacist Schedule: Monday–Friday | Two Shifts Available

  • Shift 1: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Shift 2: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Hospice Pharmacist Overview:
The client’s company, a closed-door pharmacy specializing in hospice care, is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Hospice Pharmacists to join their Tempe team. This role focuses on accurately dispensing medications for hospice patients while maintaining compliance, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

Hospice Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications for hospice patients.

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential interactions.

  • Ensure all dispensing practices comply with state and federal regulations.

  • Maintain precise and confidential pharmacy and patient records.

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and clerical staff.

  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure timely medication delivery.

  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and hospice care teams to ensure seamless patient support.

Hospice Pharmacist Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required.

  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing.

  • Proficient with computers and pharmacy software systems.

  • Strong multitasking ability and sense of urgency in patient care.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
