PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Tulsa OK 74146 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 9:00am- 4:00pm
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will support prescription dispensing, medication management, sterile compounding, and patient care services in an infusion/home-care pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience with compounding infused medications.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, review, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Evaluate prescriptions to ensure medications and therapies are appropriate for patients.
- Monitor medication adherence, compliance, and potential overuse patterns.
- Compound medications for internal or external use, including infused medications.
- Prepare sterile solutions using proper aseptic procedures and established standards.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, including dosage, administration, storage, potential reactions, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Identify and address drug-related problems and communicate recommendations to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and medical supplies.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, interns, and other pharmacy staff.
- Educate patients on the proper use and handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Support patient services and medication management programs as needed.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and established procedures.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred/required based on applicable practice requirements.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in the applicable state of practice.
- Experience with sterile compounding and/or infused medications preferred.
- Experience evaluating and monitoring medication therapies for home-care patients preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff.
- Membership or participation in professional pharmacy organizations is desirable.
