PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Warwick RI 02888 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Possibility of working 1–2 evening shifts per week (1:30 PM–10:00 PM)
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring safe, compliant pharmacy operations. This role collaborates with healthcare providers, supervises pharmacy support staff, and helps deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining all regulatory and quality standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and potential drug interactions.
- Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and compound medications, including sterile preparations when required.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and pharmacy support staff.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Pharmacist license issued by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication therapy, and patient counseling.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite and support occasional evening shifts.
