LTC PHARMACIST
Location: Lubbock, TX 79407
Pay: $65+/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Hours: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM, with a 1-hour lunch
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join an LTC pharmacy team in Lubbock, TX. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient medication management, collaborating with healthcare providers, and overseeing pharmacy operations during their assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance, utilization, and potential drug-related issues
• Ensure prescriptions and medication practices comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide medication counseling regarding dosage, administration, side effects, drug interactions, and storage
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient medication needs
• Identify and address potential drug-related problems
• Compound medications for internal and external use as needed
• Prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures
