Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician II in Houston, TX 77043. The Pharmacy Technician II would be working for a Major Mail Order Pharmacy and has career growth potential.
Pharmacy Technician II Highlights:
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Pay Range: $20-24 hourly
Pharmacy Technician II Responsibilities:
• Locate and pick correct medication and strength
• Prepare, count, label, and package prescriptions
• Maintain and update inventory recap reports
• Perform inventory tasks such as purchasing, receiving, and cycle counts
• Retrieve expired or discontinued medications and complete related documentation
• Meet defined quality and production metrics
• Work in a closed mail-order pharmacy setting (non-member-facing)
• Dispense medications including specialty drugs like IVIG, Hemophilia treatments, and DME (e.g., pumps)
Pharmacy Technician II Qualifications:
• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Required: Active Pharmacy Technician License with the TX State Board
• Required: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) – either ExCPT or PTCB
• Required: Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Preferred: Inventory experience
• Preferred: Experience in a specialty pharmacy setting
• Required: Basic computer literacy
