PHARMACY ASSISTANT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Everett WA 98203 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $20.95/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | (Sunday – Thursday)
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Overtime: Ability to work mandatory overtime (up to 1 hour daily) as needed
PHARMACY ASSISTANT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Assistant is production-based role focused on the "pick, pack, and ship" side of pharmacy operations. You will work in a high-volume, automated environment ensuring medications are processed and shipped accurately to retail locations.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACY ASSISTANT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shipping & Logistics: Process orders for shipping, including folding and packing paperwork with prescriptions.
- Sorting: Organize orders by store location and place them into totes for distribution.
- Warehouse Operations: Assist with receiving, shipping, and loading products into delivery trucks.
- Workflow Efficiency: Maintain a consistent pace to meet daily production goals in an automated refill setting.
- Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state HIPAA laws and standard operating procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
PHARMACY ASSISTANT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Licensure: Must hold a Washington State DOH Pharmacy Assistant license
(or be willing to apply for one immediately upon receiving a job offer) - Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with 100% accuracy.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift and carry 20–25 lbs.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping.
