Pharmacy Care Coordinator (PTCB)   Compensation

• The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Care Coordinator (PTCB)   Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 10:30am to 7pm

Pharmacy Care Coordinator (PTCB)   Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician will assist pharmacists, technician leads, supervisors, and managers in daily workflow to dispense specialty prescription medications to patients or providers and other pharmacy related functions.
• Practices first call resolution to help health care providers and patients with their pharmacy needs; answering questions and requests
• Phone support- Communicates with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues, coordinate medication deliveries, collect co-payments, answer questions, triage calls to appropriate departments as needed. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
• Intake – Creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues, requests refill prescriptions as appropriate, manages incoming documents from the fax server.
• Prescription Setup- Generates and types prescriptions from orders for pharmacist verification, follows up on outbound prescription transfers, and clarifies patient demographic and clinical information needed to process prescriptions.

• PTCB, CPht
• Pharmacy Technician experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Care Coordinator (PTCB)   Preferred Qualifications

• License is not required but a PTCB is desired.
• Past pharmacy tech experience is most important.
