Job Description:
- Fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules manually, verifying size and strength before filling.
- Read computer screens to locate medication on labeled shelves and process orders accurately.
- Replenish medication in automated cells, opening large bottles and cases as needed.
- Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes for replenishment and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Process shipping orders by folding, packing paperwork, and attaching labels with precision.
- Schedule: Sunday and Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with overtime.
- Work Environment: Onsite, climate-controlled environment.
- Remote/on-site/hybrid: NO
- Compliance: Adheres to federal and state HIPAA laws and pharmacy standards.
- Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 30 lbs, continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and grasping.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Pharmacy Tech degree not required in NYS.
- Basic math, reading, writing skills.
