Job Description
- Fill prescription requests accurately and efficiently in an automated refill setting.
- Prepare, package, sort, and distribute medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Maintain continuous workflow to meet daily production goals and work productively independently or in a team.
- Read computer generated screens to verify information and replenish medication as needed.
- Demonstrate problem resolution skills and maintain focus with acute attention to detail.
- Understand and comply with federal and state HIPAA laws to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Pack and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy using established procedures.
Critical Information
- Onsite position with mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- Shift: Sunday 2pm-10:30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 6pm-10:30pm, Friday 2pm-10:30pm.
Education/Licenses Needed
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Pharmacy Tech degree preferred but not required in NYS.
