A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Customer Service Representative in Cumberland, RI. This position is an onsite role with career growth potential, offering full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with the potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

  • This is an onsite position located in Cumberland, RI, and candidates must have reliable transportation.

  • Training will be provided onsite during regular business hours.

Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources.

  • Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services, and determine the best methods for providing assistance.

  • Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork, verifying insurance, and completing necessary documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records, including patient account profiles and referral source data.

  • Coordinate the delivery, set-up, and pick-up of equipment, supplies, and services.

  • Resolve patient complaints by identifying problems and coordinating corrective action.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment (call center experience preferred).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Basic alphanumeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Must understand that this role is fully onsite and requires reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance industries.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance vendors.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance concepts, such as drug cards and major medical benefits.
