Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Compensation

The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Highlights

Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Respond to telephone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources.

Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services, and determine the best methods for providing assistance.

Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork, verifying insurance, and completing necessary documentation.

Maintain accurate records, including patient account profiles and referral source data.

Coordinate the delivery, set-up, and pick-up of equipment, supplies, and services.

Resolve patient complaints by identifying problems and coordinating corrective action.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Pharmacy Customer Service Representative Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment (call center experience preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Basic alphanumeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Must understand that this role is fully onsite and requires reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or insurance industries.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance vendors.

Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance concepts, such as drug cards and major medical benefits.
