 Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Schedule & Location

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Rotating weekend: One full Saturday/Sunday every third week
  • Rotating holidays as scheduled
  • Location: 2651 Compass Rd, Suite 100, Glenview, IL 60026
  • Hybrid role – may require a mix of on-site and remote responsibilities

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Enter, access, and verify accuracy of data in the pharmacy system
  • Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
  • Maintain patient profiles, including up-to-date medication records
  • Assist in preparation and packaging of prescriptions and IVs
  • Answer phones and provide excellent customer service to patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel
  • Coordinate timely and accurate medication delivery post-pharmacist review
  • Support billing operations by entering data and assisting with reimbursement efforts
  • Maintain inventory practices: receive, rotate, and post medications, including lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Help ensure a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License is required
  • National pharmacy certification preferred (e.g., PTCB)
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience is beneficial
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under supervision in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
