Pharmacy Fill Technician
Location: Albany, NY 12205
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; one evening per week 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; every other weekend 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.01
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pharmacy Fill Technician to join our team in Albany. This position is primarily a warehouse/filling role focused on accurately and efficiently preparing prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
The manager is looking for someone with a strong work history, dependable attendance, and a willingness to learn. Pharmacy or medical experience is less important than having a strong work ethic and the ability to learn and follow processes.
Responsibilities

Fill and prepare prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist

Accurately select, count, package, and label medications

Organize and maintain inventory and work areas

Follow established procedures for prescription filling and medication handling

Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment

Assist with general warehouse/filling department duties as needed

Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members

Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician License required

Reliable and dependable with a strong attendance record

Solid work history

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work efficiently in a warehouse/filling environment

Comfortable standing, moving, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday

Willingness to learn and take direction

Previous warehouse, fulfillment, retail, or similar experience is welcome

Pharmacy or medical experience is helpful but not required
