Informatics Pharmacist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $118,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
- Relocation allowance of up to $5,000 may be available and will be discussed during the interview

Informatics Pharmacist Highlights
- This position is a permanent placement opportunity
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, Day Shift (Evenings & Weekends as needed), with potential hybrid work schedule
Informatics Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Optimize and support pharmacy informatics systems, automation, and workflows across Salina Regional Health Center and affiliated locations
- Enhance medication safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Support and help manage drug diversion monitoring programs and tools
- Ensure integrity of the medication-use process and supply chain
- Provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including dispensing and drug information
- Work with pharmacy automation systems, automated dispensing systems, smart IV pumps, barcoding/scanning technologies, EHRs, and medication safety monitoring tools
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices in pharmacy operations
Informatics Pharmacist Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program [REQUIRED]
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience [REQUIRED]
- Current or eligible Kansas Pharmacist License [Highly Preferred]
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with pharmacy automation, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Informatics Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications
- ASHP-accredited residency [Preferred]
- Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or related certification
- Experience in pharmacy informatics, automation, or IT applications
- Knowledge of medication-use systems and controlled substance regulatory requirements
