Informatics Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $118,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
• Relocation allowance of up to $5,000 may be available and will be discussed during the interview

Informatics Pharmacist Highlights

• This position is a permanent placement opportunity
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, Day Shift (Evenings & Weekends as needed), with potential hybrid work schedule

Informatics Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Optimize and support pharmacy informatics systems, automation, and workflows across Salina Regional Health Center and affiliated locations
• Enhance medication safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• Support and help manage drug diversion monitoring programs and tools
• Ensure integrity of the medication-use process and supply chain
• Provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including dispensing and drug information
• Work with pharmacy automation systems, automated dispensing systems, smart IV pumps, barcoding/scanning technologies, EHRs, and medication safety monitoring tools
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in pharmacy operations

Informatics Pharmacist Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience [REQUIRED]
• Current or eligible Kansas Pharmacist License [Highly Preferred]
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with pharmacy automation, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Informatics Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited residency [Preferred]
• Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or related certification
• Experience in pharmacy informatics, automation, or IT applications
• Knowledge of medication-use systems and controlled substance regulatory requirements
