RN Pharmacist – Hudson, WI

Pharmacist Location: Hudson, Wisconsin 54016
Pharmacist Pay Rate: $64.27/hour
Pharmacist Schedule: As Needed Basis

  • Weekends: 2–4 shifts/month (12 PM–4 PM)
  • Weekdays: 10 AM–6 PM
  • On Call: 2–3 evenings/week (6 PM–10 AM)
  • On Call Compensation: $75 per diem + $75 per dispensing call

Pharmacist Position Overview

We’re seeking a licensed PRN Pharmacist to join our team in Hudson, WI. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in on-call and overnight coverage, and a passion for patient care. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication use while supporting weekend and PTO coverage.

Pharmacist Responsibilities

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications
  • Monitor patient compliance and identify overuse patterns
  • Maintain legal and accurate patient records
  • Advise patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions
  • Provide health services (e.g., smoking cessation, BP/cholesterol checks)
  • Educate patients on medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors)
  • Compound non-sterile medications; prepare sterile solutions
  • Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns)
  • Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Pharmacist Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin
  • Experience with on-call/overnight shifts preferred
  • Non-sterile compounding experience preferred
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
