PRN Pharmacist – Closed Door LTC Pharmacy  Setting: Closed Door Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy specializing in hospice-dedicated care

PRN Pharmacist – Closed Door LTC Pharmacy  Schedule

• As Needed Basis
• 2–4 weekend shifts per month
• 2–3 on-call evenings per week
• Weekend hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Weekday hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• On-call: 6:00 PM – 10:00 AM (after hours)
• On-Call Pay: $75 per diem + $75 per dispensing call

PRN Pharmacist – Closed Door LTC Pharmacy  Compensation

Pay Rate: $64.27 per hour

PRN Pharmacist – Closed Door LTC Pharmacy  Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (required)
• Non-sterile compounding experience preferred
• On-call or overnight pharmacy experience preferred

PRN Pharmacist – Closed Door LTC Pharmacy  Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulations
• Monitor patient medication compliance, usage, and potential interactions
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and proper administration
• Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Compound medications for internal and external use
• Prepare sterile solutions when required
• Supervise pharmacy support staff
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
