Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment
Contract | $18/hr | Canton Township, MI 48188

Schedule:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Contract Length: 3-month contract with strong potential to extend or convert

A-Line Staffing is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians – Fulfillment to support the preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced, pharmacy operations environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with pharmacy systems, insurance processes, and patient communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare prescription medications using the fulfillment system.
  • Process prescription exceptions, including claim reject resolution and outreach to members or prescribers.
  • Enter patient demographics and prescription information accurately into the system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
  • Escalate clinical questions to the Pharmacist as needed.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support daily operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration/Certification required by the state of Michigan.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate pharmacy software.
