Pay Rate: $18.95/hr + $1.00 Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Tuesday – Friday 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Saturday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

A leading pharmaceutical distribution organization is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician for its 2nd shift operations in Charlestown, Indiana. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, ensuring medications are prepared safely, accurately, and in compliance with all state and federal regulations. This onsite position is crucial to maintaining a high-performing pharmacy operation.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing
- Prepare, count, label, and package prescription medications for dispensing.
- Replenish medication in automated cells, including opening bottles and cases as needed.
- Ensure accurate labeling and instructions for patient use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dispensing area.
Inventory Management
- Conduct routine stock rotation to prevent expired medications.
- Assist with inventory checks and organization of medication storage.
Compliance and Regulations
- Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Document prescription and medication-related information accurately.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry 20–30 lbs. of merchandise for short distances; 15 lbs. over extended distances.
- Stand and walk throughout the shift while performing duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana or National Pharmacy Technician License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous pharmacy experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and stay on task
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
