STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Hudson MA 01749 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $24.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | OT may be required
STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician role requires hands-on experience with sterile compounding and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) preparation using a Pinnacle Compounder. The ideal candidate can begin immediately, complete aseptic technique validation and fingertip testing, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform sterile compounding, including TPN preparation using Pinnacle Compounder equipment.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs.
- Ensure compliance with USP <797> standards and pharmacy regulations.
- Accurately enter prescription and billing data into the pharmacy system.
- Support the Pharmacist with final prescription checks and medication packaging.
- Maintain proper inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and labeling medications.
- Uphold cleanroom integrity by following aseptic technique and maintaining equipment calibration logs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Required: Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License
- Sterile compounding experience Required
- Ability to create TPNs using a Pinnacle Compounder Required
- Successful completion of aseptic technique validation and fingertip testing prior to start
- Preferred: Familiarity with USP <797> cleanroom standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and accuracy
